The international football tournament „Valka – Valga Cup– 2014” is taking place in Valka and Valga
The international football tournament „Valka – Valga Cup– 2014” is taking place in Valka and Valga from 22 to 24 August. The spectators can watch the games in the both stadiums in Valka and in Valga. The purpose of this tournament is to promote the football activities among children, to exchange the experience between football schools and clubs from different countries and to improve the players’ skills.
The participants are teams of children (born in 2003 and 2005) and adult amateur. Each participant must have a player license or a personal ID document. All players have to wear the shin guards during the games.
The teams from Latvia, Estonia and other invited countries, such as Finland and Russia, are taking part in this tournament.
The tournament winners (first, second and third place) will receive the medals and the trophies. The most valuable player will be announced after the games.
